We recently had the wonderful Merle Prosofsky team capture a couple of our completed projects, and we are so excited to share these images.
We love this welcoming lobby space for the new home of Chandos Construction here in Edmonton. They left their familiar space on Calgary Trail and headed for Edmonton Research Park. It was a great space but they wanted to add the friendly personality of their brand to an existing office building that was quite clinical and lab-like.
The custom “stud” ceiling and wall fin texture we added was modeled in 3D and cut directly by CNC from the model and then applied painstakingly to the ceiling by master craftsman Bruce at Inline Millwork. Trubridge pendants add a friendly and eco-sensitive note to the double height daylight stairwell. Raw materials – concrete and steel reinforce the construction context.
Artwork by Bob Bohay – Custom photography showing construction and project references from an unexpected angle or unique point of view. Chandos’ slogan is – We see things differently.
We are always super flattered when our construction partners approach us for help on their own turf. It is like the ultimate seal of approval from our peers on the construction side of things.
Mission accomplished! This busy, hardworking office lobby stands up to all uses – from Town Hall meetings to heavy day-to-day traffic – and most importantly helps portray the story of Chandos.
